Polyphemus is the name of the mythical cyclops in the epic poem, The Odyssey.

“ . . . as a blacksmith plunges a glowing ax or adze
in an ice-cold bath and the metal screeches steam
and its temper hardens—that’s the iron’s strength—
so the eye of the Cyclops sizzled round that stake!”

The pendant is made of sterling silver and is set with one 6mm gem in the eye. Gem choices for this piece are Garnet, Citrine, Peridot, Blue Topaz, Amethyst, Black Spinel, Smoky Quartz, White Topaz. The piece measures about 34mm by 18mm wide and fits up to a 3mm chain. A variety of silver chains are available to purchase with this piece.
